International Day of Yoga 2018
21 June 2018: 4th International Day of Yoga is celebrated at Indian Institute of Management (IIM) Visakhapatnam with great enthusiasm by the faculty, students and staff. Noted Yoga Trainer Shri. Mohammad Saleem explained about how Yoga can ease the stress to attain a balance between the work and personal life. All the participants practiced Yoga under the supervision of the Shri. Saleem. Yoga-asanas were practised with great zeal and the trainer explained the health benefits for each of the asanas. He has also stressed on the importance of Yoga in the daily life and encouraged the participants to practice Yoga every day. As part of the celebrations, a poster competition was conducted, and posters were displayed in the venue. Best poster was awarded a cash prize. Apart from these, Common Yoga Protocol was widely circulated to the faculty, students and staff. They are actively participating in the pledge-taking on the Ministry of AYUSH website. In essence, the whole session was rejuvenating and refreshing for everyone.
