Dr. Saroj Kumar Pani is a faculty member in the Strategic Management area at XLRI. He is a Fellow of IIM Bangalore in Corporate Strategy and Policy and an MBA in marketing. His teaching interest broadly covers competitive strategy, corporate strategy, business models, strategy process, and strategy for subsistence economies. Apart from teaching to masters and doctoral level students, Dr. Pani has conducted   several Management Development Programs for top and middle level executives for business firms of repute.

Dr. Pani has published many research papers in journals of repute and has presented research papers in various international conferences. Dr. Pani has been recognized for his teaching and research. He has received Andrew Towl Endowment Fund from Harvard University, AIMS Best Young Teacher Award, Best Research Paper award at pan-IIM World Management conference, and Outstanding Reviewer award at the Academy of Management annual conference to name a few.
