      AIB South Asia Conference

         24 JANUARY

      IIMV hosted the AIB South Asia Conference 2022 (AIB-SAC)
      between 23 and 25 January. This 3-day virtual event included
      plenary sessions, paper presentations and a case teaching

      workshop by esteemed academicians and scholars from
      prestigious institutions including many IIMs, IITs, and other
      premier business schools across the globe.Prof. Deepika
      Gupta, faculty at IIMV, and conference chair, AIB-SAC,
      emphasized the value of such conferences as it creates a platform for scholars to collaborate, seek
      knowledge, learn new research techniques, and receive feedback from eminent academicians. Addressing

      the valedictory gathering, the chief guest Prof. Farok Contractor, President AIB, and distinguished
      professor, Rutgers Business School, USA, offered an overview on the global recession and led an
      interesting session on world economy prospects in 2021-2030 decades.

                                                     committee and IIMV for their agility during such tough
                                                     times and for hosting the conference without any hiccups.

                                                     thanked everyone for making the conference a grand

      Vriddhi 3.0

         29JANUARY

      VRIDDHI – IIMV’s flagship Annual Business Conclave – was organised between 29 and 30 January this
      year. Aimed at providing a platform for students to get a first-hand exposure at how their lessons can be
      put into practise, this event attracts numerous industry gurus to stimulate innovation and excellence in
      both the Indian and global contexts

       Day 1

       The first Panel Discussion was on the topic ‘Entrepreneurship in developing nations - is faster technology
       adaptation the way ahead?’. After welcoming the attendees to the inaugural, Prof. Sushil Kumar, faculty
       IIMV (Entrepreneurship area), talked about the constraints for the budding entrepreneur and how

       entrepreneurship is a key driver for economic prosperity. The esteemed panellists for the day were Mr
       Vivek Javani (Digital Officer, IT Lead at L&T Defence), Mr. Kartik Dhokaai (Project Manager at RapidOps
       Inc.), Mr. Kaustubh Fule (Chief Product Officer at Hungerbox), and Mr. Amitabh Chaturvedi (Co-Foundert
       and Managing Partner at Taledge Solutions). The session was moderated by Mr. Arnav Sharma (Senior
       Product Manager at Share Chat). The panellist emphasised the importance of dynamic progress in
