The Applied Economics Society (TAES) is registered under the Indian Society Registration Act of 1860. The objective of the society is to organize annual conferences, seminars, summer schools, winter schools, faculty development programs, workshops, and symposia across different regions of India. Further, it promotes the development and application of econometric methodologies among students, researchers, scholars, and faculty members in various colleges and universities across India.
