Selection Criteria

To ensure a fair and transparent selection process, we have established the following criteria:

Online Application:
All applicants are required to submit an online application form along with a Statement of
Purpose (SoP) and the necessary supporting documents.

Aptitude Test:
The Institute, in collaboration with PTIs and/or a reputable third-party agency, will conduct a
proctored online test to assess all the eligible participants.

Note: Candidates who have the valid test score of either CAT/GRE/GMAT will be exempted
from appearing in the PGPMCI Aptitude Test.

Preparation of Merit List for Final Selection:

The merit list for final selection will be prepared based on the following criteria:
Component Weightage

Class 10 Percentage 15%

Class 12 Percentage 15%

UG/PG Percentage 30%

Gender Diversity* 10%

IIMV Aptitude Test/CAT/GRE/GMAT # 30%

(*) In order to promote Gender diversity in the cohort, an additional score will be awarded to
Female and Transgender candidates.
(#) Candidates should have valid test score to be considered for Admission.

Offer of Admission:
Based on the requirement, once the application submission phase is completed, IIMV will
assign score to each candidate’s profile. Based on the score it will roll out the admissions
offers.
