May-10-2024
Scheduled: May 10-12 (Fri-Sun), 2024
Course Introduction
In an era marked by volatility, uncertainty, complexity, and ambiguity (VUCA), the ability to navigate challenges and emerge stronger is not just an advantage but a necessity. The ”Mastering Business Resilience: Strategic and Operational Excellence in Uncertainty” program is designed to equip industry professionals with the knowledge, strategies, and insights needed to build resilient organizations.
Operational resilience is defined as an organization’s ability to anticipate, adapt to, withstand, and rapidly recover from disruptions to its operations. These disruptions can arise from a wide range of sources, including natural disasters, cyber-attacks, supply chain disruptions, regulatory changes, and economic downturns. Strategic resilience refers to an organization’s ability to effectively anticipate, adapt, and recover from strategic challenges and disruptions in its external environment while maintaining its long-term objectives and competitive advantage. The combination of operational resilience, which focuses on the ability to maintain day-to-day operations, and strategic resilience which pertains to the organization’s ability to navigate larger-scale challenges builds a resilient organization that has a strong competitive position.
Over three intensive days, participants will engage with leading academics and practitioners to explore the pillars of strategic resilience, operational resilience, organizational resilience, financial stewardship, and the transformative potential of AI/ML technologies. This executive education program is not just about theoretical learning; it’s about cultivating a mindset, skillset, and toolset that leaders can deploy to turn adversity into opportunity.
