He encouraged students to make use of a full-fledged incubator - IIMV FIELD, which trains, supports and
funds upcoming entrepreneurs.
Addressing the participants, Prof. B. Srirangacharyulu, Chairperson (PhD), gave an overview of the PhD
program. The PhD Programme of IIMV supports students with a handsome stipend, suitable accommodation
and generous conference grants while imparting high-quality training in research. Prof. Sriranga wished
students for their upcoming exciting journey as research scholars at IIMV

Prof. Anuradha, Dean (Administration), also extended a warm welcome to the students and spoke about the
values a student should inculcate. The four values one should strive for are the ability to take the initiative,
honesty and integrity, having a social conscience and a desire to grow as a joyful individual. She announced
the merit certificate and director’s merit list awardees (PGP). The merit certificate holders of term-1, 2, and
3 include AnishkaSingal, Akshita Aggarwal, Minku Goyal, Ayan Verma, Ritwik Mahajan, Sonal Shivajirao

Pawar. The Director Merit list students include Ayan Verma, Akshita Aggarwal, Badam Sri Swetha, Ritwik
Mahajan, Sethu Parvathy, Prapti Alok, RashiDawar, Sahil Rasiwasia, Shaheen, Sheik Soniya, Sonal Shivajirao
Pawar.
Prof. Saroj Kumar Pani, Chairperson (PGPEx), welcomed the incoming 4th batch of PGPEx. He spoke about
the three key aspects one needs to inculcate – self-discovery, gratitude, and utility as an individual contributor.
He engaged the audience with storytelling to explain these three essential aspects. He announced the merit

certificate awardees and director’s merit list awardees. The merit certificate holders of terms 1, 2 and 3
include Kunal Ranjan, and Venugopal Challa. The director merit list students include Kunal Ranjan, Tanmay
Gupta, and VVSS Avinash Gokavarapu.

The inauguration flagged off a week-long orientation program for the incoming batches, involving preparatory
sessions and induction activities.

Executive Post Graduate Certificate Program in General Management for working
professionals

5 JUNE

IIMV launched the virtual Executive Post Graduate Certificate Program in General Management (EPGCPGM)
for working professionals on 5 June 2022. In his opening remarks at the inauguration, Prof. M Chandrasekhar,
Director, IIMV, quoted US President John F. Kennedy saying, “Leadership and learning are indispensable to
each other.” He congratulated the incoming batch of participants and welcomed them to the IIMV family. He
further emphasized how the learning and takeaways of this one year program will
