Bosch Global Software Technologies CEO addresses IIM Visakhapatnam’s newly inducted batch of EMBA program
Shri Dattatri Salagame, CEO, President and Managing Director, Bosch Global Software Technologies (BGSW) delivered a special talk to the participants of EMBA program at IIM Visakhapatnam. The session was organized as part of the 1st Campus Immersion module for the EMBA Batch 2023-25.
Shri Dattatri’s talk on “Leading in Changing Times” focussed on the changes that are happening primarily on geo-political, technology, consumers, societies, workforce and sustainability front. He spoke about the competencies and leadership approach that would be needed to lead in such changing times, and on the need for hypothesis-based decision making, shared value creation and multi-dimensional leadership. Taking the case of automotive industry, Shri Dattatri explained that the industry is undergoing rapid changes and how Bosch is transforming itself from an industrial behemoth to a technology major.
On the occasion, Prof Chandrasekhar, Director IIM Visakhapatnam, said that the institute is committed to provide high quality management education to the working professionals and will continue to design and deliver programs to help corporate leaders create innovative solutions for business, government, and society.
Shri. Veera Reddy Dwarampudi, Head - Government and Corporate Relations, BGSW, Shri Manoj Ekkundi, Manager Mobility Solutions, Office of President and MD, BGSW were also present during the event along with Prof. Happy Paul, Program Chairperson, Prof. Preeti Virdi, Chairperson, Executive Education Programs, and other faculty and staff of IIM Visakhapatnam.
