MDP for Canara Bank officers inaugurated at IIMV
IIM Visakhapatnam inaugurated a 5-day on-campus Management Development Program (MDP) for Canara Bank officers on 22 August 2022. Addressing the inaugural gathering, the chief guest Dr Charan Singh, Former Chairman of Punjab and Sind Bank and Former RBI Chair Professor at IIM Bangalore, shared his experience and challenges faced in the professional milieu. He highlighted the need for asset quality review and urged participants to guard against the mind getting kidnapped. Prof. M. Chandrasekhar, Director, IIM Visakhapatnam, in his address emphasised the importance of learning and the relevance of applying the knowledge from the training at work.
