Celebrating the Success of EPGCPGM Batch 4
November 2, 2025: IIM Visakhapatnam concludes the 4th Batch of the Executive Post Graduate Certificate Programme in General Management (EPGCPGM). The one-year online programme, conducted via Jaro Education’s platform, brought together mid-career professionals with an average of close to 8 years of experience.
The curriculum featured 9 core modules including Managerial Economics, Marketing Management, Financial Management, Business Analytics, Digital Transformation, and Strategic Management, along with workshops on Business Communication and Emotional Intelligence.
Participants shared that the programme gave them structure, confidence, valuable networks, and in some cases, even career advancement and pay hikes.
The valedictory session was graced by Prof. M. Chandrasekhar, Director, IIM Visakhapatnam, who congratulated the participants and highlighted the importance of managing resources, relationships, and the key functions of management, Planning, Organizing, Leading and Controlling. He also encouraged participants to collaborate with faculty in developing case studies.
Professor Prince Doliya, Programme Director, in his address, urged participants to “not short-sell themselves,” highlighting the need for lifelong learning and self-investment. Professor Preeti Virdi delivered the Vote of Thanks, acknowledging the contributions of faculty, staff, and industry partners.
The highlight of the event was the recognition of outstanding academic performers for their exemplary performance.
Expressing their gratitude to IIMV, the cohort presented the IIMV fraternity with a memento, marking the close of a memorable learning journey.
