IIMV launched the virtual Executive Post Graduate Certificate Program in General Management (EPGCPGM) for working professionals on 5 June 2022. In his opening remarks at the inauguration, Prof. M Chandrasekhar, Director, IIMV, quoted US President John F. Kennedy saying, "Leadership and learning are indispensable to each other." He congratulated the incoming batch of participants and welcomed them to the IIMV family. He further emphasized how the learning and takeaways of this one year program will enhance the skills sets of professionals working in any domain and also enable them to contribute to the triple bottom line of the organization.

The Chief Guest for the event, Shri M.V.N Rao, Head – Corporate Learning & Development (CLO), Larsen & Toubro Limited Mumbai, quoted the Chinese philosopher Confucius, saying, "No man has ever set his foot in the same river again" in the context of the ever changing dynamics across the world. He spoke about how a person needs to keep on learning and growing to deal with the continuous change around. He also talked about the best practices to keep both the learner and the instructor motivated and engaged in a world of virtual learning effected by reduced attention spans, and rapid changes in the environment.
