IIMV Secures 8 Medals at INTER IIM 2025 Sports Meet
The Inter IIM 2025 Sports Meet, held at IIM Bangalore (14th to 16th November), brought together seven IIMs competing across 26 sports events with over 1200 participants. This year’s edition showcased high energy, exceptional teamwork, and an inspiring display of competitive spirit.
IIM Visakhapatnam participated with a strong contingent of 210 athletes who delivered an outstanding performance. The institute secured a total of 8 medals in the top two positions, 8 in third place and achieving a commendable 4th place overall among the seven teams. A notable accomplishment this year was that our teams also reached the Semifinals in 8 other sports and secured 3rd place in all these sports.
The medal haul included a top position in Cricket (Men). The teams also earned top two finishes across Carrom, Badminton (Women), Volleyball (Men), Powerlifting (Women), Futsal (Women), Pool (Women), and Kabaddi (Men). Adding to this success were third place finishes in Basketball (Men), Frisbee, Badminton (Men), Kho Kho, Throwball (Women), Hockey, Table Tennis (Women), and Volleyball (Women).
These achievements highlight the determination, talent, and hard work of our athletes, supported by coaches, coordinators, and volunteers who played an essential role throughout the tournament. IIM Visakhapatnam celebrates the spirit and dedication of every participant and looks forward to building on this strong performance in the coming years.
