IIM Visakhapatnam inaugurates Saksham: Leadership Development Programme for Indian Oil
IIM Visakhapatnam joined Indian Oil Corporation Limited (IOCL) in celebrating the Indian Oil Day by inaugurating Saksham: Leadership Development Programme for senior officers of IOCL. The six-day programme welcomed 29 senior officers from across India, each bringing over 15 years of professional experience.
Prof. M. Chandrasekhar, Director, IIM Visakhapatnam, addressing the participants from diverse wings of IOCL, congratulated IOCL on achieving its highest-ever sales volume in FY 2024–25, crossing the 100 million metric tonnes (MMT) milestone for the first time. He also emphasized the forward-looking goals of IOCL, anchored in technology, talent, and transition. Referring to the insights from IOCL’s 66th Annual General Meeting, , he noted that as India prepares to emerge as the largest driver of global oil demand by 2030, contributing nearly a quarter of the incremental demand, IOCL is strengthening its leadership in refining and marketing. IIM Visakhapatnam remains committed to supporting this journey through impactful leadership development.
