Managing Large Digital Transformative Projects Program under the aegis of the National E-Governance Division (NeGD), Ministry of Electronics and Information Technology (MeitY), Government of India
Visakhapatnam, 17th November 2025: The Indian Institute of Management Visakhapatnam (IIMV) has launched a five-day capacity-building programme titled "Managing Large Digital Transformative Projects," with the support of the National E-Governance Division (NeGD), Ministry of Electronics and Information Technology (MeitY), Government of India.
The programme was formally inaugurated by Prof. M. Chandrasekhar, Director of IIM Visakhapatnam, who addressed the participants and underscored the critical role of Digital Transformation and Digital Leadership in contemporary governance. Highlighting the potential of technology to serve as a bridge between citizen grievances and good governance, he also stressed the importance of robust change management practices in the successful implementation of large-scale digital initiatives. Around 25 professionals from various government departments and public sector undertakings are participating in the programme.
Prof. Srinivas Josyula, Programme Director, welcomed the attendees and provided an overview of the programme schedule, setting the tone for what promises to be an insightful and engaging learning experience.
The programme covers key topics such as Digital Transformation, Project Risk Management, Government Process Reengineering and Change Management, Digital Marketing and Public Services, Artificial Intelligence and Emerging Technologies, and Digital Public Infrastructure. The training programme also includes case study presentations.
Expert-led sessions include contributions from National E-Governance Division (NeGD), MeitY. The inaugural session concluded with a vote of thanks by Prof. Abhishek Srivastava, Programme Co-Director. He conveyed his gratitude to the Chief Guest, Prof. M. Chandrasekhar, for his continued guidance and support. He also extended his gratitude to NeGD and all stakeholders whose efforts were instrumental in shaping the programme.
