The eighth Foundation Day of the Indian Institute of Management Visakhapatnam was celebrated with fervour and gaiety on 11 February 2022. Prof. D V L N Somayajulu, Director, IIITDM Kurnool, delivered the Foundation Day lecture in which he emphasized on inculcating the necessary skills to overcome challenges and obstacles that arise in the workplace. He also shared his valuable thoughts about the possible workplace challenges and the need to develop the ability to face risk and evolve with every step. Speaking on the occasion, the Director of IIMV, Prof. M Chandrashekhar, congratulated the 6th graduating MBA batch of students for striving hard and setting an exemplary record on securing a good academic record and achieving 100% placement.

Prof. PRS Sarma proposed the vote of thanks and spoke about the importance of self-belief and hard work to survive in an exacting corporate world. Faculty, Staff and Students attended this virtual event.
