Celebrating the Valedictory of the Senior Management Program – Batch 2B
The Senior Management Program (SMP) at IIM Visakhapatnam enables participants to envision aspirational futures, identify strategic breakthroughs, and transform challenges into opportunities. Anchored on four pillars and twelve modules, it offers a holistic learning experience.
Over the past year, the cohort, with an average of nearly 20 years of experience, engaged in modules spanning leadership, finance, artificial intelligence, strategy, digital transformation and other critical areas. Their enriching journey culminated in a three-day campus immersion and the valedictory ceremony.
In his valedictory address, Prof. M. Chandrasekhar, Director of IIM Visakhapatnam, emphasized that leadership and learning are indispensable to each other. He congratulated the participants and reaffirmed the Institute’s vision of nurturing thought leaders and building a talented, capable, and confident workforce for India.
Participants shared that the program’s practical perspective enabled their transformation from managers to strategic leaders. They expressed gratitude to the Program Directors, Prof. Amit Shankar and Prof. Srinivas Josyula, and the faculty team, including Prof. Sushil Kumar, for their guidance and mentorship.
The ceremony also recognized the best capstone projects and witnessed the unveiling of a casebook developed by the cohort. We wish our Batch 2B graduates success in their new beginnings and continued excellence in leadership.
