Strengthening the Innovation Ecosystem in Andhra Pradesh
We are delighted to share that Prof. Vijaya Marisetty, Dean (Academics) and Dr. B.R. Ambedkar Chair Professor, IIM Visakhapatnam, has been nominated as a Director and Member of the Board of Governors of the Ratan Tata Innovation Hub (RTIH) at Amaravati.
The Government of Andhra Pradesh has announced the establishment of RTIH at Amaravati, envisioned as the Central Hub to nurture innovation, entrepreneurship, and start-up growth across the state. The Hub will be complemented by five regional centres (“Spokes”) located across different zones of Andhra Pradesh, creating a robust, state-wide innovation network for entrepreneurs.
This landmark initiative is in line with the state’s long-term vision of “One Entrepreneur in Every Family” and resonates with IIM Visakhapatnam’s mission to educate and nurture entrepreneurial leaders who can create innovative solutions for business, government, and society.
