Couse Introduction: -
Women leaders today are driving change, breaking barriers, and contributing significantly to India’s progress in science, technology, and innovation. Yet, women in S&T often encounter unique challenges—ranging from systemic barriers and unconscious biases to the demands of balancing research, administration, and personal responsibilities. Addressing these challenges requires resilience, confidence, and strategic leadership skills.

This 5-day leadership development program is designed to empower women scientists and technologists by equipping them with critical leadership capabilities, enhancing self-awareness, and building the confidence to lead with influence and impact in the scientific ecosystem.

Couse Objectives: -
  • Create awareness of essential leadership skills to inspire and empower teams in research and institutional settings.
  • Deepen knowledge of how to navigate challenging situations, administrative responsibilities, and professional roadblocks by turning them into opportunities for growth.
  • Provide practical strategies to overcome gender barriers and unconscious biases in scientific organizations.
  • Enable participants to negotiate effectively, influence projects and teams, bridge differences, manage conflicts, and drive organizational and societal change.
  • Emphasize the importance of achieving a balanced and fulfilling work-life synergy, enabling participants to thrive both professionally and personally.

Through experiential learning, reflective exercises, and peer interactions, the program offers a holistic approach to leadership development—empowering women scientists and technologists to lead with clarity, confidence, and courage.
