Candidature Withdrawal and Fee Refund Policy
Introduction:
This withdrawal and fee refund policy aims to provide clarity and guidelines regarding the process and consequences of withdrawal from the EPGDPM program of the Indian Institute of Management Visakhapatnam (IIMV). This policy applies to all participants admitted in the EPGDPM program. By accepting the Offer of Admission in the EPGDPM program, participants agree to abide by the terms and conditions of the withdrawal and fee refund policy as outlined below.
A. Self-sponsored Candidates:
a. Before the Program Registration:
- A candidate who paid the offer-acceptance fee or the full first instalment but wants to withdraw, will be permitted to do so, if his/her request is received by the EPGDPM Admissions Office before the program registration date as mentioned in the Admission Offer letter.
- In such cases, the fee received is paid back to the candidate after deducting INR 1000/- towards administrative charges.
- The candidate would need to fill and submit the admission withdrawal form on the portal (https://admissions.iimv.ac.in/epgdpm).
- The refund will be processed within 30 days from the date of your withdrawal form submission
- b. On or after the Program Registration:
- If the withdrawal request is received by EPGDPM office on or after the date of program registration, the candidate would be permitted to do so, however, fee paid will not be refunded or transferred towards any other participant/program/batch.
- If any participant fails to pay the fee instalments as per the fee payment schedule and/or drops out of the program, fee already paid by the candidate will not be refunded or transferred towards any other participant/program/batch.
B. Organization-sponsored Candidates:
For organization-sponsored candidates, the sponsoring organization may nominate a substitute if the originally nominated candidate opts out of the program (or) if the organization wishes to make a substitution. Such requests must be made within one week from the commencement of Term-1 classes. No substitutions will be permitted after this period.
