Prakriya, the Operations club of IIM Vishakhapatnam, aims to intrigue students' interest in operations and supply chain management. Through various activities, the club seeks to bridge the gap between classroom instructions and practical applications in several operations sectors, such as operations strategy, logistics, supply chain planning, and inventory management. For this purpose, the club publishes information series such as the "Ops Gyan", newsletters that cover the most recent developments in the field of operations and it also hosts guest lectures under "Vaktavya" series to get the insights from industry experts. To give in hand experience of the actual business problems related to operations, the club also conducts case competitions, named as "Optaqon" series, under the guidance of faculties and industry experts.
