Certificate Programme in Strategic Investment Banking and Decision Making Concludes at IIM Visakhapatnam

The six-month Certificate Programme in Strategic Investment Banking and Decision Making concluded at IIM Visakhapatnam with a two-day campus immersion, bringing participants together for the final phase of their learning journey.
Led by Prof. Tamali Chakraborty and Prof. Monika, the programme offered participants a comprehensive understanding of key areas in investment banking and financial decision-making, including financial modelling, valuation, venture capital, mergers and acquisitions, debt and equity capital markets, and risk management.
Addressing the participants during the campus immersion, Prof. Vijaya Bhaskar Marisetty, Dean (Academics), IIM Visakhapatnam, spoke about real assets, risk, mutual funds, and the emerging role of investment banking in India. He highlighted the timeliness of the programme in the context of India’s growth trajectory over the next 10-25 years and emphasised the role of financial expertise and informed investment decisions in contributing to nation-building.
The campus immersion provided participants with an opportunity to engage with faculty and peers, consolidate their learning, and reflect on the application of investment banking concepts in a rapidly evolving financial environment.
