IIM Visakhapatnam Conducts Financial and Managerial Accounting Programme for Executives of APEPDCL

A five-day Management Development Programme on “Financial and Managerial Accounting” for 30 executives of The Eastern Power Distribution Company of Andhra Pradesh Limited (APEPDCL) commenced and is being delivered by the Indian Institute of Management Visakhapatnam.
The programme is designed to strengthen the financial and managerial capabilities of utility sector professionals through sessions on accounting fundamentals, financial statement analysis, revenue recognition, depreciation and asset management, regulatory accounting, GST and income tax, cost accounting, budgeting, sustainability reporting, ESG frameworks, and the role of Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) in the future of power markets.
Led by Prof. Vikas Sangwan, Programme Director, and Prof. Tamali Chakraborty, Programme Co-Director, combines lectures, case studies, and practical exercises to enhance financial decision-making and operational effectiveness.
The initiative reflects IIM Visakhapatnam’s continued commitment to executive education and capacity building for industry professionals.
