IIM Visakhapatnam Conducts Three-Day Capacity-Building Programme on Public Procurement
The Indian Institute of Management Visakhapatnam conducted a three-day capacity-building programme on Public Procurement, supported by the Central Vigilance Commission (CVC), from 9 to 11 October 2026.
The programme brought together 22 officers from Central Public Sector Enterprises (CPSEs) across the country, providing an opportunity to strengthen their understanding of public procurement processes, regulatory frameworks, and best practices.
Led by Prof. S. Chatterjee, the training covered key aspects of public procurement, including procurement of goods and services, overseas procurement, dispute resolution, preparation of tender documents, and the code of integrity.
Prof. Aalok Kumar, Programme Co-Director, expressed his gratitude to the Central Vigilance Commission for its continued trust and confidence in IIM Visakhapatnam. He also thanked the participating organisations for nominating their officers for the programme.
The initiative reflects IIM Visakhapatnam's continued commitment to strengthening institutional capabilities and promoting transparency, integrity, and accountability in public procurement.
