IIM Visakhapatnam Welcomes Canara Bank Executives for a Three-Day Executive Development Programme
IIM Visakhapatnam welcomed Scale V and Scale VI executives from Canara Bank for a three-day Executive Development Programme. At the inauguration, Prof. M. Chandrasekhar, Director, IIM Visakhapatnam, addressed the cohort and highlighted the Institute’s expanding academic and technology initiatives.
Led by Prof. M. Shameem Jawed and Prof. Vijaya Bhaskar Marisetty, the programme focuses on how senior banking executives manage risk, meet regulatory requirements and lead teams. Sessions cover data analytics and management information systems, cybersecurity and information security, and leadership in a regulated banking environment.
Participants will also explore how to strengthen team performance and support employee well-being while upholding ethical conduct and managing operational risk. The programme examines the Digital
Personal Data Protection Act, data governance in banking, and the risks and regulatory considerations associated with the use of artificial intelligence.
