Inauguration of the second batch of Executive Programme in Strategy, Leadership and Innovation in the AI Era

The Indian Institute of Management Visakhapatnam inaugurated the second batch of its Executive Programme in Strategy, Leadership and Innovation in the AI Era (EPSLAI). The year-long programme aims to equip working professionals with advanced strategic thinking, leadership capabilities, and a deep understanding of emerging technologies, particularly artificial intelligence.
In his inaugural address, Prof. Sushil, Program Director, highlighted the increasing pace of change in the corporate landscape and emphasized the need for agile, strategic decision-making. He noted that the programme integrates contemporary frameworks in strategy, digital leadership, innovation, and AI to help participants navigate complex business environments. The curriculum includes case studies, simulations, and industry-relevant applications designed to enhance managerial effectiveness and organizational performance.
The diverse cohort, comprising over 54 participants from varied industries and experience levels, reflects a rich blend of perspectives, fostering peer-to-peer learning. The program directors underscored the importance of collaborative engagement, critical thinking, and openness to learning beyond hierarchical roles.
