MoF, GoI_ Public Procurement for CPSE officers

The program on Public Procurement is being conducted by IIM Visakhapatnam under the aegis of the Procurement Policy Division (PPD), Department of Expenditure, Ministry of Finance, Government of India.

This five-day capacity-building programme is specially designed for officers from Central Public Sector Enterprises (CPSEs), with the objective of enhancing their understanding and implementation of public procurement practices in alignment with government policies and regulatory frameworks. The programme focuses on developing institutional capacity to manage procurement efficiently, transparently, and in a legally compliant manner.

The curriculum covers a wide range of essential topics, including procurement of goods and services, overseas procurement and payments, GeM platform operations, red flags and preventive measures against corruption, procurement of consulting services, preparation of tender documents, integrity pact, code of integrity, legal considerations, dispute resolution, and the implications of the Prevention of Corruption Act.

Led by seasoned practitioners, senior officials, legal experts, and IIMV faculty, the sessions combine theoretical insights with practical applications. Through interactive discussions, group activities, and real-world case studies, the programme equips CPSE officers with the tools, techniques, and awareness required to ensure fairness, accountability, and value-for-money in procurement operations.
