NeGD - Applications of AI/ML Program
The program on “Applications of AI/ML” is being conducted by IIM Visakhapatnam under the aegis of the National e-Governance Division (NeGD), Ministry of Electronics and Information Technology, Government of India, as part of the Digital India initiative.
This two-day capacity-building programme is designed to strengthen the understanding and practical application of Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning (AI/ML) among government officials and public sector professionals. The objective is to promote data-driven governance, innovation, and efficiency in public service delivery.
The programme covers foundational concepts in AI/ML, practical tools and techniques, AI applications in government, ethical and legal considerations, and the formulation of AI strategies. Delivered by experienced faculty and industry experts, the sessions are structured to blend theoretical frameworks with real-world use cases, making the learning highly relevant and actionable.
Through lectures, hands-on sessions, and expert interactions, the program empowers participants to identify opportunities for deploying AI/ML in their respective departments and to design responsible, scalable, and impactful digital solutions aligned with national priorities.
