NeGD - Managing Large Digital Transformative Projects Program
The programme on “Managing Large Digital Transformative Projects” is being conducted by IIM Visakhapatnam under the aegis of the National e-Governance Division (NeGD), Ministry of Electronics and Information Technology, Government of India.
This five-day capacity-building programme is designed to equip senior professionals and government officials with the knowledge and skills required to lead and manage complex digital transformation initiatives in the public sector. The program focuses on bridging the gap between digital strategy and implementation, with an emphasis on innovation, governance, and citizen-centric service delivery.
Key topics covered include digital transformation, AI and emerging technologies, change management, government process reengineering, digital marketing for public services, digital trust and information security, design thinking, agile project management, project risk management, and legal and ethical considerations in digital projects. A field visit is also included to provide hands-on exposure to practical implementations.
Led by domain experts and faculty from leading institutions and industry, the program combines case studies, interactive sessions, and group work to promote collaborative learning. It aims to build leadership and execution capability among participants to ensure the success of mission-critical digital governance projects across India.
