Nurturing Future Leadership Program at IIM Visakhapatnam
IIM Visakhapatnam is conducting the Nurturing Future Leadership Program (NFLP), a five-day capacity-building initiative under the Malaviya Mission Teacher Training Programme (MMTTP) of the Department of Higher Education, Ministry of Education, Government of India.
The programme brings together principals, professors and deans from Centrally Funded Technical Institutions (CFTIs) and other higher education institutions. Led by Prof. Vishal Singh Patyal and Prof. M. Shameem Jawed, it explores the role of technology and artificial intelligence in higher education and covers leadership, change management and emotional intelligence.
In line with the National Education Policy (NEP) 2020, the programme aims to build a leadership pipeline for higher education by preparing faculty members to take on academic leadership and administrative roles.
