Senior Management Program - Batch 4 | Valedictory Ceremony

The one-year journey of the Senior Management Program (SMP) Batch 4 culminated with a three-day campus immersion and valedictory ceremony at IIM Visakhapatnam. Over the course of the programme, participants successfully completed 11 rigorous modules spanning leadership, finance, strategy, artificial intelligence, and other key management domains.
Addressing the gathering, Prof. M. Chandrasekhar, Director of IIM Visakhapatnam, congratulated the cohort and reflected on Otto Scharmer’s Theory U, highlighting the importance of an open mind, open heart, and open will in leadership and transformation.
The ceremony also recognised outstanding capstone projects and marked the release of a casebook developed by the cohort, showcasing their collective learning and applied insights.
Participants expressed gratitude to the Programme Directors, Prof. Amit Shankar and Prof. Chandreie Mukherjee, for their constant mentorship and guidance. In their reflections, the cohort highlighted the depth of peer learning, stronger networking, and their enhanced ability to communicate, lead, and navigate real-world transitions more effectively.
