Strengthening Women’s Leadership in Manufacturing
IIM Visakhapatnam is pleased to support the Women in Manufacturing Future Leaders Fellowship Program through its academic expertise. Launched by the CII Global Leadership Centre in Jamshedpur, the programme began with a three-day leadership immersion hosted by CII Jharkhand.
During the immersion, Prof. M. V. Anuradha, Chairperson, Executive Education Programmes at IIM Visakhapatnam, delivered a session on leadership, people management, wellbeing and resilience.
Designed for women in shop-floor operations, production, technical, quality, and supervisory roles, the six-month fellowship aims to strengthen leadership capabilities and support their progression into managerial positions.
IIM Visakhapatnam’s contribution focuses on personal effectiveness, people management, and workplace wellbeing, alongside industry-led modules on operational excellence, competitiveness, and green manufacturing.
The fellowship combines leadership immersion, virtual learning sessions, mentorship, and an industry field visit, helping participants connect learning with workplace practice. Participants will receive certification from IIM Visakhapatnam upon completing the programme.
