The Leadership Effectiveness Program for Odisha Govt. School Headmasters
The Leadership Effectiveness for School Administrators program at IIM Visakhapatnam is a capacity-building initiative aimed at strengthening the leadership and administrative competencies of headmasters from secondary government schools in Odisha. Conducted in collaboration with the Capacity Building Commission (CBC) and the Department of School and Mass Education, Government of Odisha, this program is aligned with the national framework of Mission Karmayogi, which focuses on enhancing the professional effectiveness of public servants.
Structured as a three-day residential program, it is designed to: Develop leadership and emotional intelligence in school administrators, Equip headmasters with tools for academic strategy, digital branding, stakeholder management, and inclusive governance, Address real-world challenges through collaborative problem-solving, Foster value-based and student-centric school leadership.
By contextualizing educational leadership in today’s dynamic learning environment, the program empowers school heads to drive meaningful transformation in Odisha’s public education system, ultimately contributing to holistic student development and systemic progress.
