• Academic Profile: Dr Aalok Kumar is an Associate Professor of Production and Operations Management at the Indian Institute of Management Visakhapatnam. He holds an MTech in Industrial Management, awarded with a Gold Medal, from IIT (BHU) Varanasi and a PhD in Logistics Management from IIT Roorkee. His doctoral research was recognised with the prestigious Excellence in Doctoral Research Award. A recipient of the Newton-Bhabha Fellowship and the Queen Elizabeth Visiting Fellowship, Dr Kumar has developed a strong international academic profile through research and teaching engagements at the University of Sussex, University of Regina, University of Maribor, The Financial University Russia, and the Asian Institute of Technology, Bangkok. His work focuses on advancing data-driven, sustainable, and technology-enabled logistics and supply chain systems.
