Prof. Rohit has obtained M Tech in Industrial Engineering & Management from ISM (IIT) Dhanbad and PhD from IIT Kharagpur. Prior to joining IIM Visakhapatnam, he worked as an Assistant Professor at Thiagarajar School of Management, Madurai.

His research interests lie in the areas of E-tailing, E-fulfillment, Last mile delivery, Healthcare Operations, Game Theory and MCDM
