Adopt-a-School Initiative
As part of the 10-year celebrations of IIM Visakhapatnam, the Institute welcomed around 100 high school students from ZP High School, Boyapalem, under its Adopt-a-School initiative for a campus tour and an interactive session.
The initiative was led by Prof. B. Srirangacharyulu, along with committee members: Prof. Sumod S D, Prof. Prasanna Kumar G, Prof. Kalyan Kolukuluri, and Mr. N. V. Mohanarao. The event aimed to introduce local students to the world of management education.
Addressing the gathering, the committee members encouraged the students to cultivate civic responsibility, aspire to higher education, and pursue their dreams with confidence.
During their visit, the students explored IIM Visakhapatnam's 240-acre campus, including its classrooms, Learning Resource Centre, and sports complex, gaining first-hand exposure to the Institute's academic environment. The visit also celebrated the students' talents through cultural performances, including shloka recitations and dance performances. Participants were recognised with tokens of appreciation for their performances.
Through initiatives like these, IIM Visakhapatnam remains committed to inspiring young minds, strengthening community engagement, and nurturing the aspirations of future generations as it celebrates a decade of impact.
