Advancing AI Leadership: IIM Visakhapatnam and Mahanadi Coalfields Limited Sign MoU
The Indian Institute of Management Visakhapatnam has signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with Mahanadi Coalfields Limited (MCL) to collaborate on a curated executive education initiative focused on Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning with special focus for mining employees.
As part of this partnership, IIM Visakhapatnam will train about 300 executives from MCL across multiple cohorts through a comprehensive five-day learning journey designed to build AI capabilities across the organisation.
The programme will cover the foundations of AI for leaders, department-specific applied learning through specialised tracks, applied projects, group presentations, faculty assessment, and certification.
The MoU was executed on behalf of MCL by Shri Keshav Rao, Director (HR), and on behalf of IIM Visakhapatnam by Prof. Vijaya Bhaskar Marisetty, Dean (Academics).
