Executive Certificate Program in Senior Leadership - Batch 3 Successfully Concludes

The six-month Executive Certificate Program in Senior Leadership Batch 3 concluded on campus with a valedictory ceremony, marking the successful completion of an enriching academic journey by 45 participants.
Designed to equip experienced managers with integrated leadership capabilities, the programme spanned four modules: Essentials of People Leadership and Management, Leading Decisions, Operational Leadership, and Strategic Leadership, complemented by campus immersion and a capstone project.
Led by Programme Director Prof. MV Anuradha and Programme Co-Director Prof. Happy Paul, the course drew upon core management disciplines to develop holistic leadership competence and prepare participants for higher leadership responsibilities. A key highlight of the ceremony was the distribution of merit certificates, celebrating outstanding individual performance as well as excellence demonstrated in the capstone project.
In his valedictory address, Prof. M. Chandrasekhar, Director, Indian Institute of Management Visakhapatnam, reflected on the essence of leadership through the acronym L.E.A.D., which stands for Listen, Encourage and Empower, Assertive, and Decisive. He also echoed the words of Mr. Harsh Mariwala, Founder and Chairman of Marico, highlighting that the moment we think we know it all, we stop growing; that strategy without culture and talent will eventually fail; and that continuous learning and ground level insight are what truly shape effective leaders.
In Harsh Mariwala’s words,
