Senior Management Program – Batch 3
Visakhapatnam, February 1, 2026: The one-year learning journey of the Senior Management Program (SMP) Batch 3 concluded with a campus immersion and Valedictory Ceremony at IIM Visakhapatnam.
Over the year, a cohort with an average of 20 years of professional experience completed twelve modules spanning key management domains, including leadership, finance, strategy, and AI.
Addressing the gathering, Prof. M. Chandrasekhar, Director, IIM Visakhapatnam, congratulated the participants and highlighted the critical role of lifelong learning in leadership. He reiterated that leadership and learning go hand in hand and referred to Henri Fayol’s four core functions of management: Planning, Organizing, Leading, and Controlling (POLC), as a continuous cycle essential for achieving organizational goals.
The ceremony also recognised outstanding capstone projects and marked the launch of a casebook developed by the cohort.
Participants expressed gratitude to the Program Directors, Prof. Amit Shankar and Prof. Chandreie Mukherjee, and the faculty team, including Prof. Sushil Kumar, for their constant guidance and mentorship throughout the program. Participants also described the program as well-structured and effectively delivered.
With more than 600 professionals trained through the Senior Management Program till date, Batch 7 is set to launch soon. We congratulate the Batch 3 graduates and wish them continued growth, impactful leadership, and success ahead.
